Stuart Davidson
Mr. Davidson has been involved in investing in early stage companies for over two decades. He is a managing partner of Labrador Ventures. Mr. Davidson is the Labrador representative with portfolio companies iPV, Shotspotter, Ultriva, and Ustream.
Prior to Labrador, Mr. Davidson founded and served as CEO of Combion, Inc., which was acquired by Incyte (Nasdaq:INCY). He also served as President of Alkermes, Inc. (Nasdaq: ALKS), a biotechnology company focused on drug delivery. He managed the development of this company from concept stage through the initiation of human clinical trials. This growth phase included raising over $13 million from the venture capital community and R&D partnership sources prior to the company’s initial public offering.
Mr. Davidson also worked for MCI Communications and for Warner Communications, where, in different management capacities, he was responsible for the development of a number of information technology business opportunities including electronic messaging, data networking, interactive cable TV, and on-line services.
Mr. Davidson is a graduate of Harvard College (1978) and Harvard Business School (1984).
